Cat Defence Mission Statement
1. To promote and safeguard the welfare of all cats and kittens, whether domestic or homeless for whatever reason.
2 To encourage responsible ownership.
3 To assist disadvantage owners with affordable Desexing and with free advice for the continued care of the cat or kitten.
4 To promote the concept of Desexing rather than destruction as a means of population control.
5 To assist with the homing of unwanted lost or homeless cats or kittens.
6 To lobby governments at all levels to assist with subsidized Desexing fees.
The Cat Defence had its beginnings in the early 1990's. It was incorporated in 1996 and won its authority to fund raise in 1998. Our motto is "We Desex We Do Not Destroy."
We work with other like-minded animal welfare groups and this mutual co-operation has benefited the organisations, the animals and their owners.
